Deloitte, is scaling back its DEI commitments in the U.S., employees learned on February 10.
In an email obtained by The San Francisco Standard, Deloitte’s chief people officer, Doug Boudoin, announced the firm will phase out its diversity goals, DEI Transparency Report, and related programs.
The firm also directed employees in its Government & Public Services division to remove pronouns from their email signatures, citing the need to “align with emerging government client practices,” per Business Insider.
The move comes in response to an executive order issued under President Donald Trump, which rolled back DEI preferences in federal contracts. As a major government contractor, Deloitte received approximately $3.2 billion in federal funds last fiscal year.
